This autumn I`ve had the amazing opportunity to be part of the Lanificio Ricceri Family, one of the leaders fabric producer making every Designer`s heart beating higher.

Lanificio Ricceri ios a family run business founded in 1925 in Prato now running by the grandson`s owner, Luigi and Francesco Ricceri.

It was an amazing journey I could went through by observing every single stepp in the whole circle of fabric production. Seeing the fiber go through all these process for becoming a precious wool, linen or whatever kind of high qualitiy fabric is simply stunning. All the knowhow which is behind the production of these kind of fabric is amazing and to result of a beautiful fabric is like a secret recipy, it`s all about the ingredients and the handling which makes the result.

I think everybody should know how a fabric is produced to value in a appropriate way our daily material wearing on our skin.

I want to thank Luigi, Francesco for making this possible and also all the lovely Ricceri - Members who where so kind and generous. I felt so welcome and you where taking care of me so sweetely.

And also a thank you to Giovanni Conforti who introduced me to Luigi - grazie caro amico.
